Guest Review: Like Magic Is A Sweet Story About Three Girls And Their Friendship

Note from Elena Reads: Today’s guest blogger is Lidia N., age 10. Here is her review:

I read a book called Like Magic, by Elaine Vickers.

It was about three girls named Grace, Jada, and Malia who meet because of the town library. The librarian shows them the treasure book that they all check out separately that helps them meet later in the book.

I like this book because it goes back and forth between the three girls stories throughout the book. Even though the girls are different they are all lonely and looking for a friend.

I learned that putting yourself out in the world can make a difference in your life. They each put something important to them in the treasure box for others to find.

This book is good for people who like different points of view or who are in grades 3 through 6.

I would give it 4 out of 4 roses.
