Guest Blog: Ruby Finds A Worry Helps Kids Work Through Anxiety

Posted by

Note from Elena Reads: I love seeing little kids interested in the books they read. Emery Sutherlin is five and the youngest guest blogger on my site! She read Ruby Finds A Worry by Tom Percival. It’s a picture book with good advice on how to deal with a worry. Even though she’s reviewing a book about worrying, Emery says she has no worries 🙂 Here is her review:

The book is about worrying; but if you worry about things it gets bigger until you talk to someone about it.

I liked it because of the mom and the drawing.

My favorite thing was: Ruby’s hair and dress. I liked how big the puffs in her hair are and the polka dots on her dress.

I think Ruby is six. She also makes friends which is good for all kids.

I think all kids will like the book because of the pictures and some kids have worries and it may help them.

I give it 4 out of 4 roses!
