Review: Peeny Butter Fudge Offers Silly Look At Playdate With Grandma

Posted by

When Granny is around, anything can happen. Whether it’s riding around in big bags or playing doctor, this hilarious book called Peeny Butter Fudge, by Toni Morrison & Slade Morrison, shows that your imagination is never limited.

This book is about two kids who are being watched by their grandmother. Even though their mom has a list of all the things they need to do that day, Granny and the kids don’t care! They have their own agenda, which includes making Granny’s famous Peeny Butter Fudge, which you can make, too! I did! (There is a recipe at the end of the book.)

I loved this book because it was funny and silly, but actually was a good example of the bond between a grandmother and her grandkids.

I recommend this book to readers of any age because all ages will like reading about this fun grandma and her grandchildren.

This book was great!! I will re-read this book multiple times. It definitely earns 4 out of 4 roses!
