Picture book author Desiree Cooper “has always wanted to be a writer – except for the couple years I wanted to be an astronaut”. Now, she is an award-winning author who has been nominated for the Pulitzer-Prize in Journalism when she was a reporter at the Detroit Free Press! I was excited to talk to her about her new book.
